Water Conservation and Management at AHI Red Deer Sustainable Innovation Campus
At AHI Red Deer Sustainable Innovation Campus, we take a proactive approach to conserving and managing water resources. Our goal is to capture rain and snow and use it to provide enough water for all our needs, including irrigation. With on-site power generation, we have the advantage of recycling the heat from the engine to melt snow and ice, which fills our on-site water storage tanks located inside all the buildings.
We recognize the importance of freshwater as a precious resource and strive to minimize our impact on the environment by using natural rain and snow to supply water to our tenants. Our natural well systems provide a backup water source to ensure that we always have access to clean water.
By implementing these water conservation practices, we are not only reducing our environmental footprint but also saving significant amounts of money on utility bills. We encourage our tenants to join us in our efforts to conserve water and use this valuable resource responsibly.
At AHI Red Deer Sustainable Innovation Campus, we believe that sustainable practices are essential to building a brighter future for our planet. Join us in our commitment to preserving our planet’s natural resources and promoting a more sustainable future.
