The Three-Phase Vision

Introducing the AHI Red Deer Sustainable Innovation Campus: A Three-Phase Vision for a Greener Future

Phase 1: Pioneering Sustainability through Agriculture, Technology, and Clean Energy

Phase 1 of the AHI Red Deer Sustainable Innovation Campus sets the foundation for a greener future by integrating sustainable agriculture, clean energy, and a focus on technology. This creates a platform for pioneering innovative solutions to global challenges. Our state-of-the-art vertical farm, on-site power generation powered by Rolls-Royce engines, and technology hub truly ignite the core of the development.

In this pivotal first phase, the agriculture component centers around an advanced vertical farm, ensuring responsible and efficient food production. The digital production studio serves as a hub for creative solutions and compelling storytelling while advancing the digital arts economy in Alberta. Lastly, the technology hub houses Rolls-Royce power generation systems – the heart of the development. Our heart is powered by Rolls-Royce, generating clean on-site power that is reliable, green, constant, and available at fixed rates. The technology hub draws in global innovators, Agritech and technology companies, offering a multi-use, shared office complex with a patio overlooking the river at over 100′, a brewery, and one of the nicest patios in Alberta for enjoying a brew in the corridor between Calgary and Edmonton. Phase 1 defines the overall direction for the Sustainable Innovation Campus, setting an ambitious yet achievable benchmark for subsequent phases to build upon.

Phase 2: Accelerating Social Innovation, Education, Life Sciences, and Manufacturing

In Phase 2, the AHI Red Deer Sustainable Innovation Campus takes a leap towards redefining the industry. We are expanding our vertical farming capabilities, promoting social innovation, and investing in advanced research and manufacturing. We invite global companies with a large carbon footprint and a commitment to sustainability to join our development. Designed with circular economy principles in mind, the campus features related uses, such as cold storage facilities to support on-site tenants and the local community, dedicated spaces for life sciences, laboratories, and processing to facilitate groundbreaking research, and an additional power facility providing electric semi-charging to further minimize our carbon footprint.

Phase 3: Securing Data and Advancing Net Zero Initiatives

Phase 3 of the Sustainable Innovation Campus aims to lease space to innovative and sustainable users who are committed to driving the net zero agenda forward and laying the groundwork for future communities. We welcome users from all sectors who can bring their expertise to help us achieve our goal of becoming a net zero facility. In this phase, the campus will serve as a hub for manufacturers and operators in the hydrogen sector, enabling the development of new types of energy and sustainable products/fuels for hydrogen-based vehicles. Alongside this, the planned data center in this phase has a vision to potentially be powered by 100% carbon-neutral energy, ensuring it becomes a globally valuable asset while adhering to an ESG+R mandate. As a result, Phase 3 will set a new standard for sustainable growth, demonstrating that a carbon-neutral future is possible through innovation, collaboration, and investment. We encourage all parties that share our vision to lease space within the campus and join forces in driving the net zero agenda forward. By working together, we can create a sustainable future for generations to come.

Conclusion:

The AHI Red Deer Sustainable Innovation Campus is a visionary project that aligns with global investment mandates and is a compelling opportunity for investors to contribute to a greener, more sustainable future. The three phases of the development focus on food security, job security, data security, energy security, and carbon neutrality, with an ESG+R focus. As the project advances to seek businesses that align with the vision, it will become a hub for innovators, operators, and companies to be part of a sustainable innovation community. The Sustainable Innovation Campus aims to create a Havenz Smart Community, where sustainability is the norm, and new technologies are implemented to create a better future for all.

Join us in making this vision a reality, and let’s build a brighter future together.
