Utilities (& Amenities)

It’s all in the Details

Agritech Haven International (AHI) offers a full suite of utilities and services for its members. As part of the AHI smart community, members benefit from a comprehensive menu of amenities specially designed for safe and efficient agribusiness operation.

AHI Red Deer is designed for universal uses, so no matter what type of essential or emerging operation finds its home at AHI, the facilities are designed to easily accommodate. Working hand in hand with expert architectural, engineering, and contractor crews makes creating a custom framework streamlined. Mechanical, electrical, and structural guidelines are strictly adhered to, ensuring assets meet federal compliance from start to finish.

AHI is being constructed with durability and risk mitigation in mind, using top of the line non-combustible materials. The facility itself provides common and shared security, site compliance officers, property management services, safety teams, and on-site maintenance crews to name just a few benefits. The technology-based hub also allows easy access to a full range of information, products, and IT services that will enhance any agribusiness.

AHI strives to recycle and reuse as many resources as possible to increase efficiency, decrease operating costs, and minimize carbon footprint while never compromising the end goal of being environmentally conscious. AHI provides consistent, reliable power to all tenants through its power generation building. Certain technology will be utilized to capture all heat generated during this process and repurpose for amenities throughout the park. AHI power generation process allows adequate and consistent utilities available within each suite. These include treated hot and cold water, CO2, heating/cooling, dehumidification, and the potential for on-demand steam for the use of sterilizing areas, tables, equipment, and more. AHI has allocated approximately 1.25 MW per building or 30 MW throughout the entire site.

Being a good neighbour means being a part of the solution. At AHI, our water is specially processed through our unique technology that increases efficiencies regarding water use, treatment, and recycling, all while maintaining high water quality. Over time, these practices play a major role in substantially reducing greenhouse gas emissions that are typically associated with treatment plants and decrease the impact of the nearby watershed.

Cultivators can introduce their nutrient recipes directly to the water supply available within their suite (which will have already been treated before entering cultivation spaces). As a part of business park bylaws, scheduled/routine testing of the water supply will take place to ensure the expected level of consistency is maintained.

One of the most utilities we pride ourselves most in is the exceptional internet performance we have set up for the entire development. Because specialized and advanced operations require robust connectivity capabilities, AHI Red Deer features a 6000+ fibre count with AHI Red Deer, with multiple ISP providers with gigabit bandwidth.

All additional utilities and services help AHI minimize the impact on the environment while providing exceptional services to agribusinesses.
